It's good to see the runabout Vulture in action once again, and also appreciate just how good the boat and driver, John Lewis, were.
There's plenty of racing from the 70's and for those of us who fully appreciate finer things in boats that 'go fast and turn left' there's also some skiff racing to behold. If you haven't got a copy, you can get one by contacrting Bindy Lewis at the email address.

personal video that has been done very professionally, and if you have
an interest in 70's powerboating it's a must see! Congratulations to
David Gill for producing a hull that went that fast and was that stable
in that era is a rarity. John Lewis who had the 'balls' and talent to
run such a small craft at the speeds he was attaining, is testimony
to the mans ability. It was fantastic to see the original Stampede running,
and running only just ahead of John and 'Vulture'. Well done Bindy,
thanks for leaving us memories of the 70's, powerboats and a great man
racing!
